Hello, hello! I have an exciting update to share today about my next release, GOOD BONES (Book 1 in the Savvy Homes Trilogy). After several weeks working with my wonderful designer, I’m thrilled to announce that we have a cover!
Ready…?
Here…
It…
Is!

Here she is! The beautiful cover for GOOD BONES… and I think it captures beautifully the setting of Savannah – and the houses, which are going to be a big part of this novel. What do you think?
In other news, the ebook version is just about ready to upload to Amazon KDP, and the finishing touches are being put on the paperback version. Just like WILD HEARTS, this novel will be available in both editions, which I’m really excited about! I’m hoping to have them both up and available on Amazon within the next week or two. More to come on that!
In other writing news, I submitted my Edward VI manuscript to my UK publisher about a month ago and am now busily working on organizing my index entries (yes, writing a nonfiction history book is MUCH different from writing a novel…). No idea when I’ll hear from my editor about revisions, but I’m hoping it’s not right around the same time that I’m welcoming baby #2 (estimated around the beginning of July). We’ll see! A part of me will laugh if I get an email asking for quick edits and rewrites within the same week of giving birth. The other part of me will cry.
As for my novels, I am also working on writing installment #2 of the Savvy Homes Trilogy, and I’m roughly 20,000 words into it. As my novels tend to end up around 100,000 words, this isn’t exactly terrific progress, but it’s better than nothing. I’m hoping (see: unrealistic expectations) to have the bulk of the writing done by the time baby makes his or her arrival… but we’ll see.
Anyway, I’m very excited to share this update with you today, and SO happy that we’re getting close to the finish line with GOOD BONES. It’ll be ready and available soon, and I really hope you all love it!
